About Wieniek

 

Wieniek Pyrzanowski was born in 1958 in Gora Kalwaria. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 1990. During his studies at the Academy he was in the workshop of  Prof. Ludwik Maciąg.

 He lives in Wesoła - district situated at the outskirts of the capital city of Poland - Warsaw.

 His favorite art technique is oil painting but he also does water color. The main theme of his paintings is Mazovian landscape. He is also fascinated with horses and  horseman in historical uniforms. Wienczysław also does nude paintings and portraits. He did some religious themes ( i.e. a huge portrait of Saint John Paul II for Lichen Basilica - see above right - and a few paintings for Sisters Annunciade at Grąbiln Monastery).

 He likes to work with young artists and art students apprentices.

 His paintings are in private collections in Poland, Denmark, Germany, US, Brazil and Austria.
